We started making caramels in the mid 1990’s for family and friends during the holidays. Although we started out knowing we made great tasting caramels we continued to tweak our recipe until we could call it our own. In addition to using the finest, freshest ingredients it is important to get the temperature of the caramels just right to ensure the best taste and consistency. After many years of taste testing and comparing our caramels with other caramels we discovered that none came close to the taste and quality of ours. So, we took the advice of family and friends who told us that we should really start selling these caramels. Founder, Candace Barnett, who is an airline pilot, has traveled all over the country but makes Dayton, Ohio her home the place she was born and raised.
